(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after Bedford Police officers were called to investigate a domestic fight Wednesday night.
When officers arrived in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue at 7:34 p.m. they found two males running from the area.
"Officers made contact with both males and noticed Nathan Hendrick showed signs of intoxication," says Chief Terry Moore. " He was also uncooperative with officers and had an abusive attitude and would not stop yelling after being told to stop."
Officers attempted to handcuff 33-year-old Hendrick, but when they did he pulled away and attempted to run.
"Officers had to forcibly place him in handcuffs after he refused to place his hands behind his back," Chief Moore added.
Hendrick was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
