(BEDFORD) - Early voting ends today at Noon at the Lawrence County Courthouse.
According to Lawrence County Clerk Billy Tumey, the county has had a record number of early voters.
On Friday alone, 409 people voted at the Lawrence County Courthouse -- the biggest local turnout for a single day for this election season.
Tumey says voters are realizing early voting is convenient, finding it is easier to go when they have the time, instead of worrying if they can get off work or will be in town on election day.
The polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Voters will no longer have to vote at their precinct. A registered Lawrence County resident can vote at ANY of the following Voting Centers with a valid identification:
