(BLOOMINGTON) - A 21-year-old female IU student reported she was raped Friday night at an off-campus party.
The woman told Bloomington Police there were heavy drinking and marijuana use going on at the party.
The woman told police she was fading in and out of consciousness and woke to find a 19-year-old male IU student raping her.
Officers were notified about the rape after the female went to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for an examination. Police say a rape kit was done.
The incident remains under investigation.
