(LINTON) - According to an autopsy report, a Linton man died of multiple stab wounds.
The autopsy was performed on Friday.
Scott White of Linton was transported to Greene County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police Chief Troy Jerrell said the Linton Police Department responded to an altercation in the city limits late Wednesday night to a report of a stabbing.
Andrew Damron, a person of interest in the case, was arrested on a warrant of petition to revoke probation.
On Monday more information and formal charges are expected to be issued by the Greene County Prosecutor's Office.
