(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington man was arrested after he walked out of Rural King without paying for his items.
Bedford Police officers were called to the store at 7:13 p.m. after an employee witnessed a man walk out of the store without paying for his items.
When police arrived they detained 19-year-old Alexander England in the parking lot.
"Mr. England showed the usual signs of intoxication and admitted to taking the items," says Chief Terry Moore. "Officers also found Mr. England in possession of drugs."
He was arrested on charges of theft, public intoxication, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
