(MADISON) - A Florence, Kentucky man was arrested Friday after he threatened an employee at Madison School on Thursday.
Madison Police says Bobby Kennedy was arrested after a family member of an employee at Pope John Elementary School received a threatening text message.
Kennedy was arrested on Friday. He faces charges of serious violent felon in possession of a gun, which is a felony charge, and felony possession of a handgun without a license, felony intimidation, felony resisting law enforcement and felony residential entry. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
Jefferson County Sheriff deputies spotted Kennedy in the 6800 block of Main Street, according to a news release. Law enforcement removed the occupants from the home and searched the residence, finding Kennedy hiding inside.
