(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell man was arrested Sunday night after causing a disturbance at Lowes.
Bedford Police officers were called to the business just before 8 p.m.
There they found Cory Turpin inside the store causing a disturbance.
"He showed all the signs of intoxicated, the slurred speech, red blood-shot eyes and was unsteady on his feet," says Chief Terry Moore.
Turpin gave officers consent to search him and officers found him in possession of meth, marijuana and a controlled substance that he did not have a prescription for.
Turpin was arrested on charges of public intoxication, possession of meth, marijuana and a controlled substance.
