(SEYMOUR) - The Jackson County Public Library invites beginners to knit or crochet and advanced yarn-crafters to enjoy working on their projects together this month during Needle Arts Group at noon Thursday at the Crothersville Library or at Knit & Crochet Night at 6 p.m. Friday at the Seymour Library.
Crothersville Library participants also are encouraged to bring quilting, cross stitch or latch/rug hooking projects.
These free drop-in programs meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of most months; however, the Nov. 22 sessions are canceled due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Beginners should bring short size 7 or 8 knitting needles or a size J or K crochet hook and a ball of regular worsted weight yarn to learn either craft. Experienced yarn-crafters may bring their current projects or try new knit or crochet patterns furnished to the group.
