(UNDATED) - The Santa Train will chug into a town near you this weekend.
This is the 29th year for the event that ushers in the holiday season. It is happening Friday through Sunday at 12 rural locations along Indiana Rail Road tracks stretching across southwestern Indiana and into Illinois.
Last year, 8,300 people -- most of them children -- climbed aboard to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Kids of all ages are invited to climb aboard and visit St. Nick on his very own express train! The Indiana Rail Road Company proudly presents the 2018 Santa Train.
Santa has brought along some very special guests from the North Pole including Rudolph, Mr. and Mrs. Snowman, and Christmas Mouse. The event is FREE to all and everyone is guaranteed to have a jolly good time.
Come out and get into the spirit of the season when Santa's train makes a stop near you.
