(UNDATED) - As you gather with family for Thanksgiving dinner, you might not know that you may eat as many as 3,000 calories with fat equalling three sticks of butter.
The Calorie Control Council says if you eat the typical holiday dinner with turkey and all the trimmings, it could be more than twice the average amount of calories you normal eat in one day with nearly 3 ½ times the fat.
The council suggests exercising, cutting your portion sizes and snacking on fresh vegetables and fruits instead of eating cheeseballs and potato chips.
