(SALEM) - The Washington County Chamber Cookie Walk and Christmas Parade is Saturday.
The Cookie Walk will take place around the Courthouse Square from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Those attending can stop by the chamber booth in front of El Maguey to purchase a cookie bag for $5 then stroll around the square and visit participating businesses to get a cookie and enjoy great Christmas shopping deals.
The annual Christmas parade will start at 5 p.m. This year's theme is "Hawaiian Christmas".
There will be awards given for Best Overall Float, Business, Civic, and Walking.
The parade will travel the same route as last year; starting at the Salem Middle School, up to North Main Street to the square, ending with Santa being dropped off at his house on North Main Street in Fox Purlee Wealth Managements plaza.
