(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested on a charge of rape for a second time on Thursday morning.
Bloomington Police arrested 22-year-old Bryce Shook on two counts of rape after a woman reported that he had assaulted her twice on Wednesday morning.
The 21-year-old woman invited Shook to her home for dinner on Christmas night. The woman told detectives she had been drinking that evening but Shook, who was on probation, did not partake according to Bloomington Police Capt. Steve Kellams.

Shook had been arrested in January 2018 on charges of rape, aggravated battery, and strangulation. He posted bond and was scheduled to appear in court on those charges for a Pretrial Conference in Monroe Circuit Court on January 29, 2019, at 2 p.m. Part of his release was not to consume drug or alcohol.
In this new arrest, the woman told detectives that she told Shook 'no' after he made sexual advances towards her. He then assaulted her at 3 a.m. She passed out and woke around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday to find Shook raping her again. He then left the home
Police took the woman to a local hospital for a sexual assault examination.
Shook was arrested on Thursday night at his East Hillside Drive apartment. Shook told police the woman had said no and that she was intoxicated at the time of the assault.
He was booked into jail and is now being held on a $50,000 surety and $1,000 cash bond.
