(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police were called to Rocket’s Famous Pizza early Saturday morning after a couple offered their leftover pizza to those standing in line.
Bloomington Police officers were called to the establishment at 222 North Walnut Street around 3 a.m. after a report of customers arguing.
Officers spoke with a 22-year-old man and 21-year-old woman who said they had gotten into a fight with a group of six people.
The two told police they hadn't eaten all of their food and saw a long line, so they offered a group of three women their leftovers.
The three women were offended and punched and kicked the woman multiple times.
The man tried to intervene but was grabbed by three other males who punched him multiple times.
Both suffered bruises and cuts to their faces.
The case remains under investigation.
