(PATOKA) - The gulls are back at Patoka Lake.
On Saturday, January 12th at 1:30 p.m. and again on February 16th at 11:30 a.m., you can join the naturalist at the Patoka Lake Nature Center to discover why we see gulls in the winter.
We typically think of gulls being on warm sunny beaches near the ocean not in Indiana. Discover what they are doing here.
During these programs, participants will have the opportunity to drive to the water to see them up close using binoculars. Participants should dress for the weather and bring binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras.
For more information regarding this program or other interpretive events, call the Nature Center at 812-685-2447.
