(MEROM) - The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Merom man last week in connection with two burglary investigations.
Authorities say Jesse Davis was arrested for the theft of a chainsaw from a garage at Merom College Institute and the theft of a flat screen TV from a nearby home.
Investigators were notified that Davis had pawned the chainsaw in Terre Haute.
When a deputy went to Davis' home they found the stolen TV in plain view.
Davis was arrested on two felony counts of burglary and one count of theft.
He was booked into the Sullivan County Jail and is being held on a $4,300 bond.
