(UNDATED) - City of Bedford and City of Mitchell offices will be closed Monday, December 31, 2018, and Tuesday, January 1, 2019, for New Year’s Holiday.
TASC Buses will not run on those days.
All Monday trash routes will be picked up as regularly scheduled on December 31. Monday's recycle routes will be picked up on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Tuesday trash routes will be picked up on Saturday, December 29. Tuesday's Recycle routes will be picked up on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
In the City of Mitchell, there will be NO trash pickup on Tuesday. Trash will be picked up as regularly scheduled on Monday. Tuesday pickup on Wednesday

Library
Bedford Public Library will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
BMV Announces Holiday Hours
All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches will be closed Tuesday, January 1 in observance of the New Year's holiday. All branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours beginning Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

Lawrence County Solid Waste Management District
The Lawrence County Solid Waste Management District will be open on Monday, December 31. The Transfer Station will be open from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Recycling Center will be open at 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. Collection Stations have Normal operating hours. The Administrative Office will be closed. All departments will be closed on Tuesday in observance of the New Year's holiday.
Orleans Trash Schedule
The Orleans Town office wishes to make residents aware of the town's Trash Collection Schedule during the upcoming New Year's holiday.
Residential trash pick-up on Monday, December 31 and New Year's Day Tuesday, January 1 will be as usual with no change.
Schools
Bedford North Lawrence and Mitchell Community Schools will resume classes on Thursday, January 3, 2019. If you have any questions, please call the school.
Monroe Community Schools will resume on Monday, January 7th, 2019.
