(ORLEANS) - Orleans Jr. Sr. High School will be hosting the eleventh annual Pep Band Invitational on Saturday, January 12th.
The band booster organization coordinates the event which features about 14 Indiana high schools and universities for a day of spirited, musical competition.
The event is open to the public and general admission tickets are $5 and available at the door, preschool and younger are free.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with the competition beginning at 10 a.m. Some participating schools include Paoli, Shoals, West Washington and an exhibition performance by Indiana University Southeast and Marian University.
The event reflects the Orleans hometown ballgame atmosphere with outstanding band performances, mascots, cheerleaders, and student cheering.
Concessions will be available.
Orleans Jr. Sr. High School is located near the corner of West Wilson Street and Highway 37 in Orleans.
