Bedford North Lawrence Community Schools Board to Meet Thursday

(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence Community Schools Board of Trustees will meet in open session at 6 p.m. Thursday at the NLCS Administration Building at 460 W Street.

An executive session will be held at 5:15 p.m.

The subject matter of executive session is as authorized by federal or state statute.

IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(2)(A) Collective Bargaining

IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(2)(B) For a discussion of strategy concerning initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing.

IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(5) To receive information about and interview prospective employees.

IC 5014-1.5-6.1(b)(6)(B) To discuss before determination individuals' status as employees.

IC 5-14.15-6.1(b)(2)(D) The purchase or lease of real property by the governing body up to the time a contract or option to purchase or lease is executed by the parties.

This meeting is a meeting of the School Board in public for the purpose of conducting the School Corporation's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There may be time for public participation as indicated by agenda item, or as directed by the President. The meeting site is fully accessible. Any person requiring further accommodation should contact the Superintendent, at the School Corporation's central office. The meeting will be electronically recorded and will be kept on file in the Superintendent's office. A copy of the audio recording will also be available on the NLCS website. There will be a Board of Finance Meeting beginning at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019. The NLCS School Board Open Session is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Following the NLCS School Board Open Session, the NLCS School Board Executive Session is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. The meetings will be conducted at the NLCS Administration Building.

There will be an Executive Session (5:15 p.m.), and an NLCS School Board Work Session, (6:30 p.m.) on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at the NLCS Administration Building.
