When Terry Hoeppner, Indiana University’s football coach spoke at last year’s United Way dinner in Bedford, he won over the crowd.
Even die-hard Purdue fans cheered for the Hoosiers until they faced them on the field.
How amazing that a headache that began on Christmas Eve became so severe that Hoeppner is now recovering from surgery that removed a brain tumor. His physicians expect him to resume all his responsibilities as head coach.
Just as Colts Coach Tony dungy gave thanks to the good Lord for his presence in his life, so Terry Hoeppner shared how grateful he is for the Lord's being with him throughout the ordeal. How refreshing to hear testimonies from prominent coaches. The ACLU must cringe at the thought!
