(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana welcomes the 2006 Men’s Final Four later this week.
Some 80,000 people are expected to visit the Circle City. Bob Schultz with the Indianapolis Convention and Visitor's Association says it will have an expected economic impact of $45-million. But it's more than just the games, there will be a host of activities.
Hoop City will be at the Convention Center. The NCAA will open its doors for 100 hours with special activities to celebrate its Centennial. Monument Circle will play host to two concerts on Saturday and Sunday. The all-day concerts are free. Sunday features a performance by John Mellencamp.
