On Friday night, the Bedford North Lawrence Stars boys basketball team fell to the New Albany Bulldogs with a final score of 63 to 46.
The Stars were behind in the first quarter with a low total of 5 to 3. The Bulldogs extended their lead to a 9 point margin and entered halftime with a 27 to 18 lead.
The third quarter ended with New Albany extending their lead to 11 points with a score of 45 to 34. The Bulldogs went home with the victory by increasing their lead to 17 points with the final score showing 63 to 46.
Leadin in scoring for the Stars was Christenbury with 13 points, Chase Spreen with 12 points and Trueblood with 8 points. The Bulldogs leading scorers were Barber with 19 points, Bryant with 17 points and Hobbs with 8 points.
