(MITCHELL) - The previously unbeaten Orleans varsity baseball team suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Perry Central at Mitchell High School Thursday by an 11-6 score.
The Bulldogs, under coach Mark Wheeler, fall to 4-1 on the season, 2-1 in Patoka Lake Athletic Conference play.
The junior varsity Bulldogs also fell to the Commodores by a 4-1 count. The games were played at Mitchell, due to the fact that the Orleans varsity ball field has no lights.
Orleans visits Bloomfield on Friday.
