(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis city officials are still awaiting a shipment of lobster, Boston cream pie, and clam chowder.
That is the end of the wager that Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson made with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino over the outcome of the Colts-Patriots AFC championship game.
City officials say they haven't had much contact with Menino's office, other than Menino speaking briefly with Peterson during a conference last week. A spokeswoman for Menino's office says the "prizes" will be shipped sometime this week. Peterson Press Secretary Justin Ohlemiller says they aren't sure why it's taking so long.
After the Colts-Ravens game, the now-Governor of Maryland shipped crab cakes from a well-known Baltimore restaurant the following week.
Chicago Mayor Richard Daley is expected to announce his end of a friendly wager with Peterson over the outcome of the Super Bowl sometime later this week.
