(EVANSTON, IL) - Indiana Hoosiers’ Coach Kelvin Sampson has termed IU’s game at Northwestern tonight a “must win”.
The Hoosiers will try to snap a five-game road losing streak as they close out the away portion of their schedule this evening against the Wildcats. Indiana is 18-and-9, 8-and-6 in the Big Ten and have lost their last three games in Evanston. The Wildcats are 13-and-15 but just 2-and-12 in conference play.
Northwestern has dropped seven of their last nine games.
In West Lafayette, the Purdue Boilermakers look to continue their dominance at home this evening when they host the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The Boilermakers are 18-and-10 overall, 7-and-7 in the Big Ten, but are an impressive 14-and-1 at Mackey Arena. Their lone defeat on Keady Court came at the hands of top-ranked Ohio State. The Gophers enter tonight's game riding a seven-game losing streak.
Minnesota is 9-and-20 overall and 3-and-12 in conference play.
