(SOUTH BEND, IN) - NFL scouts spent Sunday in south bend as Brady Quinn and other former Fighting Irish players worked out at Notre Dame’s “pro day”.
Quinn was the center of attention as he participated in a half-hour of passing drills but did not take part in agility drills. He is recovering from a knee injury suffered in Notre Dame's loss to USC in the regular season and aggravated during Notre Dame's Fiesta Bowl loss to LSU. Quinn says he will run during Notre Dame's next "pro day" later this month.
Quinn is a candidate to go to the Oakland Raiders with the number-one overall pick in next month's NFL draft, however some draft gurus expect the raiders to take LSU quarterback Jamarcus Russell.
Representatives from each of the 32 NFL teams were present for Sunday's workouts.
