(UNDATED) - Official ratings aren’t yet in, but those in New York City’s “Saturday Night Live” studio last night seemed to think Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning did a good job as host of the live show.
Most of the show's sketches played off the Super Bowl champ's wholesome image.
At the end of the broadcast, brothers Eli and Cooper Manning wheeled a birthday cake onto the stage as everyone sang to Peyton, who turned 31 that day.
In other colts news, the team's super bowl trophy made a stop in Muncie this weekend as part of its tour of the state. The trophy tour features Colts cheerleaders, a poster giveaway and mascot Blue.
