(UNDATED) - Round one action in the IHSAA boys state basketball sectionals resumed last night with one major surprise.
In Class 4A, unranked Indianapolis Arlington pounded 5th-ranked Cathedral, 68-to-46 in the Lawrence North sectional. Arlington will face Warren Central, who defeated Indianapolis Manual 73-to-41, tomorrow night.
Third-ranked Franklin Central and 10th-ranked Center Grove each advance and will meet in the Franklin sectional semi-final on Friday night.
In class 2A action Wednesday night, top ranked Forest Park advances in the Southridge sectional, while 7th-ranked Shenandoah advances to the Alexandria sectional semi-finals.
In Class A action, top-ranked Oregon-Davis, 2nd-ranked and defending Class-A Champion Hauser, 5th-ranked Orleans, 6th-ranked Bethesda Christian, and 9th-ranked Blue River Valley all advance to the semi-finals in their respective sectionals.
