(INDIANAPOLIS) - Demolition of the RCA Dome in Indianapolis could begin as soon as April 2008. However, the decision on how to destroy it has not been made.
Construction project manager Tom Scheele says imploding the dome is under consideration, but it is more likely that conventional demolition methods will be used.
The exact date to start demolition depends on how well construction goes at Lucas Oil Stadium, the new home of the World Champion Indianapolis Colts.
Officials say that project is currently running on schedule.
