(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Bill McCarthy hit his first home run of the season and Carlos Mendez drove in a pair of runs to lead the Richmond Braves past the Indianapolis Indians 6-2.
Indianapolis starter Sean Burnett suffered his first loss of the season, allowing three runs on eight hits with five walks in four and-a-third innings pitched.
Burnett drove in the tribe's first run with an RBI single in the second while Brian Bixler added an RBI double in the ninth.
The Braves took the final three games in the four-game series.
The Indians wrap up their six-game homestand with a pair of games against the Norfolk Tides on Tuesday and Wednesday.
