(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Yunel Escobar hit a two-run home run in the fifth that gave Richmond the lead for good as the Braves powered past the Indianapolis Indians 8-3.
Indianapolis starter Marty McLeary retired the first two batters in the fifth. Martin Prado singled and Escobar followed with his go-ahead homer.
An error would lead to four more unearned runs scoring in the Braves' six-run inning.
Richmond has taken two of the first three games in the four-game series which ends tonight at Victory Field.
