(NORFOLK, VA) - Chris Aguila’s three run home run in the top of the twelfth gave the Indianapolis Indians a 5-2 win over the Norfolk Tides in extra innings.
Francis Beltran entered the game in relief at the start of the eleventh for Norfolk, walking Jose Hernandez and giving up a double to Russ Johnson before surrendering Aguila's game-winner.
After Norfolk took a 1-0 lead in the first, Nyjer Morgan put Indianapolis in front with a two-run single in the second. Norfolk came back to tie it on Morgan Clendenin's RBI double with one out in the ninth.
Game two of the four-game series is tonight in Norfolk.
