(MOOSIC, PA) - Nick Green hit a solo homer and a grand slam to lead the Indianapolis Indians past the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre Yankees 8-5.
It was the first time in a nine-year professional career that Green has hit two home runs in a game. The five RBI was also a career best.
The Indianapolis win snapped the Yankees' four-game win streak.
Game two of the four-game series is tonight with a pair of lefties - Scranton's Chase Wright and Indy's Sean Burnett - scheduled to start.
