(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Louisville pounded out 13 hits and starter Tom Shearn shut down Indianapolis as the Indians fell to the Bats 8-1.
Shearn allowed a run on five hits over seven innings, walking none while striking out eight to pick up his first win of the season.
Mike Edwards homered and drove in two for Louisville.
Shane Youman took the loss for the Indians, allowing four runs on eight hits in four and two-thirds innings to fall to 1-and-4.
The Tribe opens a four-game series with Syracuse tonight at Victory Field.
