(PAWTUCKET, RI) - John Van Benschoten pitched five shutout innings as the Indianapolis Indians picked up their third-straight win, a 5-1 victory over the Pawtucket Red Sox.
Van Benschoten allowed four hits to collect his first win of the season.
Brian Bixler drove in two runs and Yurendell (shur-ren'-dul) De Caster hit a solo homer as the tribe sent the Pawsox to their fifth-straight defeat.
Game three of the four-game series takes place this afternoon in Pawtucket.
