(UNDATED) - The Indianapolis Colts will get their first look at the latest crop of rookies when they open a three-day rookie minicamp on Friday.
The Colts have nine draftees and 15 undrafted free agents to get acclimated to the team's systems. There is plenty of work to be done during the three days as several of the new players will not be available for part of summer school as they complete their classwork.
The rookies are allowed to work with the team despite not being under contract, a situation that changes with the start of training camp in July.
Several players from state colleges who were not selected in last weekend's draft will be getting a chance as free agents around the NFL.
