(MUNCIE, IN) - The Ball State men’s basketball program broke NCAA rules for a second-straight year according to a published report.
The Muncie Star Press reports that Ronnie Thompson and his staff violated rules banning them from being present at voluntary off-season team workouts and then lying about their involvement.
The violations were similar to those committed by the coaching staff in 2006 and are considered minor by the NCAA.
The newspaper obtained Ball State's report on the violations to the NCAA via a public records request.
