(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Carlos Maldonado drew a bases-loaded walk with one out in the bottom of the ninth as the Indianapolis Indians edged the Pawtucket Red Sox 4-3.
Matt Kata hit his first home run in an Indianapolis uniform and Yurendell De Caster had an RBI double for the tribe.
Jeff Bailey hit a two-run homer for the Pawsox.
Game two of the four-game series is tonight at Victory Field.
