(INDIANAPOLIS) - Another honor for Indianapolis Colts Coach Tony Dungy.
The first African-American coach to win the Super Bowl was one of two leaders honored with Indiana Black Expo's Sam Jones Trailblazer Award. The award is named for the longtime head of the Indianapolis Urban League.
In a taped statement, Dungy called the award "an unbelievable honor," particularly given the association with Jones.
Also honored was Evansville Insurance Company Owner Harold Calloway. 14 other community leaders received achievement awards at the annual Black Expo governor's reception.
