(ALBUQUERQUE, NM) - Indianapolis Indians pitcher Bryan Bullington was the winner as the International League defeated the Pacific Coast League 7-5 in last night’s Triple-A All-Star Game in Albuquerque.
The former Ball State star was the starter for the IL and was staked to a 4-0 lead before throwing a pitch on Wednesday night. Bullington allowed two runs on two hits over two innings.
Tribe shortstop Brian Bixler went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs scored for the IL while Yurendell De Caster grounded out in his lone plate appearance.
The Indians resume play tonight in Rochester where they will face the Red Wings.
