(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will have top draft pick Anthony Gonzalez under contract when they report to training camp on Sunday.
Gonzalez, a wide receiver from Ohio State who was taken with the 32nd overall pick in last April's NFL draft, agreed to a five-year deal.
The Indianapolis Star reports that the contract is for seven and-a-half million dollars with five-point-four million guaranteed. Escalator clauses could make the deal worth in excess of ten million dollars.
Gonzalez is expected to fill Brandon Stokley's old role as the slot receiver in formations with Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne.
