(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will practice this afternoon as they get ready for Friday night’s preseason finale in Cincinnati against the Bengals.
The starters are expected to see limited action, if any, against the Bengals as last Saturday's 37-10 win over Detroit was intended to be the final "dress rehearsal" for the first units.
Defensive end Dwight Freeney and tight end Dallas Clark will definitely not play as both were injured against the Lions. Both Freeney and Clark's injuries are believed to be minor.
The Colts have just six days to prepare for Friday's game, but that is more than Cincinnati will have. The Bengals lost their Monday night game to the Falcons last night in Atlanta to fall to 0-and-3 in the preseason.
Sometime today, the Colts will announce a list of cuts as teams need to be down to 75 players on the roster by four o'clock, eastern time, today. They must be down to the regular season roster level of 53 players on Saturday.
