(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever and the Connecticut Sun will face each other tonight at Conseco Fieldhouse for the right to advance to the Eastern Conference finals of the WNBA playoffs.
The Fever evened the best-of-three series at a game apiece with a 78-59 win Saturday afternoon at the Fieldhouse. It was the first time the Fever had beaten Connecticut in six games this season.
Anna Deforge followed up her career-high 31-point performance in game one by leading Indiana with 26 in game two. Tamika Catchings recorded her second double-double in the series in Saturday's win. Catchings finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds in her second game back from a foot injury that cost her the final month of the regular season.
Tonight's winner will face the winner of the other Eastern Conference semifinal series between the Detroit Shock and the New York Liberty. The Shock evened that series at a game apiece with a 76-73 win at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Sunday.
