(HANOVER) - The athletic director for the Southwestern School Corporation has resigned after just 11 days.
Former girls' volleyball coach Jeff Lawson says he underestimated the time and experience needed to oversee sports in the school system in Hanover, and says he needs to pay closer attention to a pizza parlor he owns.
He's the third AD to leave Southwestern in two months. The previous athletic director lasted less than a week before resigning over health concerns. His predecessor left in July to take the same job at Greencastle High School.
