(UNDATED) - The college football season gets underway in earnest on Saturday.
Notre Dame hosts Georgia Tech in South Bend. The Fighting Irish have not lost to the Yellow Jackets at home since 1959.
Purdue is on the road at Toledo. Toledo and Purdue have not met since 1997 when the rockets beat the Boilermakers 36-22 at the Glass Bowl in Joe Tiller's debut as Purdue head coach.
The Indiana Hoosiers open the post-Terry Hoeppner era in Bloomington when they host Indiana State. It's the third meeting between the Hoosiers and the Sycamores with IU winning both previous games in Bloomington.
