(LOUISVILLE, KY) - The Indianapolis Indians used a pair of big innings to thump the Louisville Bats 13-5.
The tribe took the lead by scoring seven runs in the fifth and added six more in the sixth to extend their win streak to three games.
Brad Eldred hit a pair of home runs and drove in four while Steven Pearce added a two-run shot and Dan Kelly had a two-run triple with three RBI. The Bats have lost four in a row.
Game three of the four-game series is tonight in Louisville.
