(NORFOLK, VA) - The Indianapolis Indians and the Norfolk Tides battled to a 2-2 tie in a game halted by rain in the bottom of the eighth inning.
It was the tribe's last game in Norfolk this season and the contest will not be resumed.
Indianapolis jumped out to a 2-0 lead on RBI singles from Yurendell De Caster and David Parrish. Norfolk tied the game on an RBI triple by Bo Hart who scored on a single from Tike Redman.
The Indians have their final off day of the season today before heading to Louisville to open a four-game series with the Bats.
