(BOSTON, MA) - Reports out of Boston say that Celtics Director of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge has approached Reggie Miller about coming out of retirement and playing for the Celtics.
Ainge tells The Boston Globe that he and Celtics Coach Doc Rivers have spoken to Miller, but would not go into more detail.
Miller turns 42 this summer and has not played since ending his 18-year career with the Indiana Pacers in 2005. He is the NBA's all-time career leader in three-point field goals made and attempted and is the all-time leading scorer in Pacers history.
Miller has spent the past two seasons as an analyst for TNT Television.
