(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Marty McLeary and two relievers combined on a six-hit shutout as the Indianapolis Indians blanked the Columbus Clippers 1-0.
The Tribe scored an unearned run in the fourth when Nyjer Morgan reached on an error, stole second, advanced to third on a balk by Columbus starter Collin Balester and scored on Michael Ryan's single to center.
McLeary went seven innings, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out five to improve to 5-and-7. Balester lasted six innings, giving up the unearned run on two hits to take the loss, falling to 2-and-3.
The five game series wraps up tonight at Victory Field.
