(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The 2008 IndyCar schedule was released on Tuesday.
The 2008 schedule is similar to 2007's, with the season starting a week later at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 29th and the Michigan race being dropped.
The season will end at Chicagoland Speedway for the third-straight year, with the final race on September 7th.
The 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500 will be held on May 25th.
The schedule has five Saturday night races, the same as in 2007, and consists of eleven ovals, three permanent road courses and two temporary street courses.
