(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue will try to remain undefeated while Notre Dame is looking for its first win of the season as the two in-state rivals meet Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.
The 25th-ranked Boilermakers are averaging 48 and-a-half points per game this season as they go for just their second 5-and-0 start since the end of World War II.
The Fighting Irish are at the opposite end of the spectrum, averaging 6.8 points per contest as they are in the midst of the first 0-and-4 start in school history.
Notre Dame has won five of the last seven meetings, including the last two.
